The Mahatma Gandhi Veterinary College, an excellent college was established during the year 2005-06 in Bharatpur (Raj.). MGVC is an excellent institute in private sector to generate competent veterinarians in the field of Veterinary science and Animals Husbandry. The main objective of the institute is to provide scientific-knowledge in the field of feeding, breeding, healthcare and modern management practices to farmers, live stock owners, poultry farmers and entrepreneurs in these fields with the aim to improve production and quality in animal products (Milk, Meet, Eggs, Wool, Hide & Skin) on afford ability basis.

Under graduate course of B.V.Sc. & AH is five and half year of duration as per VCI stipulations in this regards including one year thorough training of students at Veterinary Hospitals, Poly Clinics, Diagnostic Labs, Semen Labs, Poultry harm, Dairy farm and Zoo.

All the qualified veterinary graduates from the MGVC are engaged globally in various fields (Teaching, research, extension-services, etc.) including services in latest challenges faced in human pathogen relationship.

In view of the diversified scenario the training of veterinary graduates is concentrated to strengthen the scio-economic fabric of rural and urban India for giving more emphasis on live stock production and entrepreneurship.
